Laura Ruby is the author of seven books for children and teens including the YA novel Bone Gap, a National Book Award Finalist, winner of the Michael L. Printz Award, and a Publishers Weekly Best Book of 2015. She also writes short fiction for adults. She is on the faculty of Hamline University’s MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults program.
