J. Dianne Dotson is the alternate pen name of Jendia Gammon (ATACAMA; 2025 from Sley House Publishing). She is the science fiction, fantasy, and horror author of Nebula Award (Andre Norton) and BSFA Award Finalist THE INN AT THE AMETHYST LANTERN (Android Press), BSFA Award longisted THE SHADOW GALAXY: A Collection of Short Stories and Poetry (Trepidatio Publishing), as well as the four-book space opera series THE QUESTRISON SAGA® (Heliopause; Ephemeris; Accretion; and Luminiferous).

Dianne is also a finalist for a second BSFA Award as Jendia Gammon (for the short story “Copper” in Interzone 295).
She holds a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and is a science writer and an artist.

Dianne is a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association, the Horror Writers Association, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, the British Science Fiction Association, Thriller Writers International, Sisters in Crime, and the British Fantasy Society. She lives with her family in Los Angeles, California.
